Is it just me or is the Darth Vader who appears in the bus stop posters for Disneyland looking a little more... uh... trim, slight,.... even boyish? Are they trying to sell him to the pre-teen girl market now? "Win a Date with Darth!" "Why Darth likes girls who are not fake"

This would be more helpful if I'd seen the poster in question. Any links? Generally, Thor, I do, but I could not find one. I'll probably have to photograph it. It was the Disneyland "Season of the Force" ad.

Nobody else thinks this Vader looks more Michael J. Fox-ish in build and face, than Dave Prowse-y???

This has been the new look since 2005, Revenge of the Sith. This is young Darth Vader right after his, um, first fitting, and they've used this look a lot in the last dozen years. In universe, as he gets older he gets thicker. Another example of the scrupulous fidelity to realism that is the hallmark of the franchise.

Next time octoberman, kev mcgann, and I convene at DinB's Gertrude Stein-esque salon, we simply MUST have a photograph made of us wearing mudmasks, towels on our heads, and monogrammed bathrobes while hipsterly reading the latest edition of Darth Beat. Dollars for doughnuts JP will be hiding an art book inside the magazine, so no one sees.
