Soundtrack to Italian film of English Jacobean tragedy, T'IS PITY SHE'S A WHORE. Play it's based on is a real gore fest; multiple deaths by the end. Story of a brother who develops a passion for his sister, and she reciprocates. And that's just the beginning. I won't even go into the poisonings, blinding, burning, murders, etc. Bodies litter the stage in the last act. (And, this thing was written in the early 1600's, even though it actually sounds very contemporary.) I saw this years ago; it was kind of stylized and I didn't think very good. Rampling was the best thing in it. Don't recall the score. The CD is quite valuable now. I'd get it if it were rereleased.
