The original fairy tale was written by a Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve in 1740, though there is also an abridged version from 1756 by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont (it is this version that the Jean Cocteau film is drawn from). I honestly don't see any similarities between Twilight and Beauty and the Beast, though I personally don't care for Twilight so don't take my word for it. However, during one of my interpersonal communications classes, my teacher mentioned the original fairy tale as a possible variation on the Pygmalion legend as we were discussing the "Pygmalion effect", though I've no idea if Twilight could be considered a variation on that legend.

This entire post reeks of botspam, and if it's not it's certainly a prime candidate for some https://lmgtfy.com/ snark. ETA: also why would anybody use a "dissertation house" with illiterate writers/spambots? Good call. This thread is just mechanized SPAM, which I didn't realize when I replied at the top.

I appreciate hearing Ray's inside experience, but this thread is apparently mechanized spam. The mods should look into suspending the robot user IDs.
