I'm going to take this opportunity to bring you up to date with my Miezcyslaw Weinberg acquisitions (with no public demand at all) because each has been played innumerable times and are more or less in rotation in my car. These are CDs only; blessedly, many more works are available to enjoy in full on youtube.
Symphonies: 4 (Warner), 5 (Chandos), 6, 8, 12, 17, 18 (Naxos)
Complete string quartets (CPO)
Requiem (Neos)
Violin concerto (Warner)
I also have Naxos's 19th symphony and the new 2-disc set of complete Sonatas for Violin and Piano in the pipeline from Amazon.
Some of the discs above have additional works to use more of the running time, many of which are lighter fare than the symphonies (such as the Sinfonietta No 1 on the Chandos disc, and the Rhapsody on Moldavian Themes along with the Naxos 6th) but all are worthy and melodious.
