Anyone else a fan of the series THE MISSING? I just finished season 2, and I get it on our STARZ channel, and I think you can stream it now.

In both season one and two, a child goes missing in a European country. Tcheky Karyo plays the intrepid French detective, Julien Baptise, and he’s excellent in the part. I also thought James Nesbitt in season one and David Morrissey in season 2 were superb. Both played the tortured fathers of a missing child.

Yes, it is a mystery series. Where is the child and who took the child? The mysteries are multilayered with various characters and clues. Moreover, the series really delves into the shattering effects on the families of these missing children.

There was a subtle hint at the end of series 2 that there will be a series 3. Any other fans?

Bill, I thought the BBC had a part in its production. And why haven't you watched it yet, Bill? Quite partying so much with various British "maidens" and watch it!!

Too harrowing for me. and whenever i hear the words Kidnap plot i yawn and know im in for a long and tedious few hours.
Kidnap, and hostages and stand off, anyfin like that, and im asleep before the t.vs warmed up.

Billions however is just superb.

Ah darn, season 2 ? I thought season 1 was fantastic, really gripping and Karyo was top notch, just a standout performance.

We no longer subscribe to Starz, but I may have to re-up to see the new season.

Maybe you can stream it, Mike. I'm not sure. Now I'm hoping for a season 3.
