Does anyone have the information on what originally was scheduled for those days? I am curious about what the TCM Underground and Sunday night silent and foreign films were that presumably have been rescheduled.

This gives the new schedule, but I'm looking for what was originally scheduled.

The TCM Underground films were THE NINTH CONFIGURATION (1980) and SHOCK CORRIDOR (1963).

The Silent Sunday Nights / TCM Import films were three Japanese films by director YasujirĂ´ Ozu: TOKYO CHORUS (1931) [a silent film], I WAS BORN, BUT... (1932), and GOOD MORNING (1959).

Thanks, Bob. I appreciate the information. Is there any place to still find the complete original listings for these dates?

Not that I know of. My information came from TCM's printed program guide, Now Playing.

But the NOW PLAYING does print the entire schedule, every day of every month.

*** FWIW, for future reference, I recommend, to anyone, spending the fews bucks to subscribe. It enhances the TCM experience in many ways, totally aside from letting you know what the hell is going to be playing when.

DR. JONES! I see Inherit The Wind on your list. Ask me oh ask me what is the opening line of the stage play from which yon film hath been adapted?

Thank you, Dr. Jones. Fortunately I've seen most of the ones I want to see, but I hope they reschedule Cluny Brown and Tokyo Chorus soon. It's great that they are doing such a full-scale tribute to Robert Osborne. I've been watching some movies this week that I recorded a long time ago and every time one of his intros comes on I realize what a great loss this is.

The first line of the play is,"After we convict Cates, we'll arrest and try Liverance for being a wise guy."

Okay, Howard, I'll bite. What's the first line?

I'm probably one of the few people on this Board who did see the play once, but that was so long ago I certainly don't remember the opening line.

I was in the play in high school (playing the Clarence Darrow part) and don't remember any of the lines!

I saw the play at the Arena Stage in Washington D.C in 1973. The cast was lesser known then -- better known now. Dana Elcar (later in "Macgyver") was Drummond, Robert Prosky (later in "Hill Street Blues") was Brady, Max Wright (later in "Alf") was Cates, and Dianne Wiest (later an Academy Award winner for HANNAH AND HER SISTERS) was Rachel Brown.

And I don't remember the first line, but I'll guess about it without looking it up. Was it something said by a little boy when Drummond arrived in Hillsboro?

As I recall, Drummond doesn't enter until near the end of Act One and when he does Hornbeck (the H. L. Mencken character) says something like "Hello, Devil, welcome to Hell."

Turned on TCM this afternoon and caught much of the 20-year tribute. It was great. It was followed by an "Extra" about the making of The Night Of The Iguana. Also great. Next, caught most of RO's interview with Peter O'Toole. Great again. It was followed by "Extra" about the making of Fame. Surprise, great! Then watched entire interview with Kim Novak. RO was great, Kim was moving in her candor.

It looks like some of the films that were bumped from the schedule to do the weekend tribute to Robert Osborne have been rescheduled for July, including Ninth Configuration and Tokyo Chorus. They're including the latter with some other Japanese films so it makes for a nice line-up.

It was a nice tribute from what I saw. Loved the "outtakes" segment, wherein he kept flubbing lines and (for fun I suppose) referred to an unidentified film as "this piece of s___"!
