Always loved that line in the movie and the Bald Vulcan Master was cool too with his line.
Goldsmith's "Vulcan music" underscore I always found superb. Or is that the "V'ger Ruby Cock Stirring Theme"? It does appear later in the film when Spock on the Enterprise, gets all quiet and is sensing V'ger.
But it does sound to me like invented language, something more like 'és sters é ruberach, Spock'.
She pronounces Spock with a soft 'ck', for which I don't really know what letters from the alphabet could represent it, but I'd guess at 'ch' like in the way Scots pronounce 'Loch'. I don't know the phonetic alphabet to use that instead.
I heard that the lines were read in English on the set, and later either dubbed with new, spoken gibberish or monkeyed with electronically. Same for Saavik and Spock's aside about Kirk in TWOK.
There's some really funny sounding lines in Star Trek TMP. At one point it sounded like the female Vulcan Master says, "Give me your throat Spock." When they are in the Wormhole it sounds like Chekov says, "Torpedo engines away!".
Oh man, that is so funny. Human half? I thought they were totally logical. 0 or 1, there are no halfs. Yoda, with those pointy ears would make a good honorary Vulcan - "Do or do not!"
