I am finding it increasingly interesting to read autobiographies from composers and musicians. So far I have books by the following in my collection, either written by themselves or with co-authors: Harold Faltermeyer David Foster Yanni Mike Oldfield Phil Collins Bernard Sumner Rolf Løvland Joe Satriani The one from Peter Hook is on its way to me as I write this, and there are other interesting ones I might read in the future, like the ones from Mike Rutherford, Johnny Marr, John Taylor and Nick Mason. Any others worth investigating further?

GOOD VIBRATIONS "by Mike LOve this is why I usually avoid autos'. this is a blatant example of a ghost written memoir. It is, in fact a rehashed history of THE BEACH BOYS DRAWN FROM FAMILIAR SOURCES, with the occasional intrusion of Mike Love. You know its really him talking when he complains, rightly, about being denied song credits. But there is so much "the Sixties were a time of great optimism..." crap that I stopped reading about the time of PET SOUNDS.

Since last time, I have read the books by Peter Hook and John Taylor. Both of them good, but particularly the one from Hook was hilarious. The one from Edgar Froese is out very soon.
