Scanners. The end Duel between the brothers, is a classic not every ones cup of tea, but an atmospheric film all the way threw. Wicker Man. The sacrifice of Edward Woodward is a classic ending, plus the pagan folk music & instrumentals fits it perfect. Oh yes, those are two great ones, especially The Wicker Man.

Electra Glide in Blue. Holy hell that ending blew me away. It comes out of nowhere and the final shot is outstanding. Nice thread, Gordon. good choice oblic. Yes indeed - I remember watching it in a Newcastle cinema in the late 70s. I think it was the Waterloo Street multiplex, the first in the city. I think mine would either The Italian Job or Moonraker... MOONRAKER???!!!!!! sod off! brm

Random Harvest - the smoke-transition from Coleman to Garson, and Coleman's slight but noticeable physical reaction to what must be a flood of memories..... even better: LOST HORIZON when Coleman spots Xanadu (and that great Tiomkin music!)
