STAR WAR AFTERMATH: EMPIRE'S END---an excerpt from the novel is about Jar Jar Binks performing as a street clown and explains to Mapo, a boy, that Jar Jar is alone because he helped form the Empire.
'“My no sure.” The Gungan makes a hmm sound. “Mesa thinkin it cause-o Jar Jar makin some uh-oh mistakens. Big mistakens. Der Gunga bosses banished me longo ago. Mesa no been to home in for-ebbers. And des hisen Naboo tink I help the uh-oh Empire.” For a moment, the Gungan looks sad. Staring off at an unfixed point. He shrugs. “My no know.” Though Mapo wonders if he knows more than he’s saying."'
The novel also mentions that Chewbacca has a son named Lumpawaroo which led to speculation that Chewbacca's family might appear in a future Star Wars movie.
JURASSIC WORLD 2---a source released the reported synopsis for the sequel which involves military use of dinosaurs as weapons. Universal Pictures did not confirm the synopsis, but the original movie had Vic Hoskins trying to weaponize the dinosaurs for the military. Hoskins died in the movie, but Dr. Wu survived and may continue the plans started by Hoskins.
Earlier, a source earlier denied the rumor that the plot involves dinosaurs trained to be super-weapons and are used in a war.
"The adventures at the Jurassic World resort and theme park continue as the government has trained dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes."
THE PREDATOR---photo released of the reboot movie's cast shows Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Shane Black, Olivia Munn and Keegan-Michael Key.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was not in the picture which indicates he probably won't be in the movie. Last year, Black said, “There’s one of two ways we can go. We use Schwarzenegger or we don’t. And there’s advantages to using him and there’s a story to be told if we don’t, and I’m not going to tell you which one we chose, but we made a choice that I think is cool and we’ll see what happens,”
ALIEN: COVENANT---20th Century Fox released a photo of the sequel cast which includes Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride and James Franco.

VAN HELSING---co-writer Eric Heisserer said the reboot movie won't include superheroes, but will be scary, “I don’t know what it’s going to look like at the end of the process, so I’m gonna withhold on commenting on really where it lands. I can say that my intent stepping in was to make it as scary as possible, partly because I know how to do that, and also because when you’re the only human surrounded by a bunch of supernatural creatures, that’s gotta be absolutely unnerving.”
HELLBOY 3---Guillermo del Toro commented on the status of the sequel, “Spoke w/ all parties. Must report that 100% the sequel will not happen. And that is to be the final thing about it.”
TRAVELERS---Netflix renewed the series for Season 2.
BLOOD AND WHISKEY---WGN America tv series underway based on the biography BLOOD AND WHISKEY: THE LIFE AND TIMES OF JACK DANIEL. The series will follow Jack Daniel who built the world's largest whiskey empire.
