I predict that this release will open the door to more Kenyon Hopkins releases, as only Baby Doll has been released (outside of European releases likely sourced from vinyl). Now if only somebody would do a twofer of Hopkins only television music albums ("East Side West Side" and "The Reporter") which were released on Columbia (ever consider it Intrada, since you reissued "The General Electric Theater" album on C.D.?)

I also see that Jackie Gleason's name was not shown on the original Kapp album cover, no doubt because he was a "recording artist" for another label, Capitol. So glad you pointed that out - I was deeply confused by the cover. For a moment there, I actually thought "Wait - Jackie Gleason really WAS Minnesota Fats?!" And Capitol is now owned by Universal Music (ironic)!

SOLD OUT ... finally.

Wait, there was no amount announced, so how did it sell out? I thought Intrada was still operating under the "Intrada Special Collection CD available while quantities and interest remain!" amount. Does this mean interest was so little it couldn't get another pressing?

Does this mean interest was so little it couldn't get another pressing? It was in the Danger Zone for quite some time. The last I remember, there were less than 50 left.

I'm sorry -- I was thinking of the new Hopkins release!
