They had a minute's silence at the Real Madrid vs Napoli Champions League game last night to mark the death of a former club president. Unusually it was accompanied by music - from Once upon a Time in the West. Don't know the story but I presume it was a beloved piece of music for him. And why not.
As Orbital says, Real Madrid have used Jill's Theme for a minutes silence at the Bernabeu for a number of years now. I once asked Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague at a book signing why they used it and he said he didn't know but he'd like to find out!
(He was signing copies of his book of Rafa Benitez, fact fans).
