Blah, blah, blah, something negative about a re-issue and the first release being a Zimmer score, blah, blah, blah.

Really? I did a quick look and I can't find it, but that would be incredibly odd and counter productive when it comes to trying to turn a profit. And it looks like Notefornote has decided to do the annoying thing some labels do where when a product is not in stock yet, it says SOLD OUT on the product page. No, really: https://notefornotemusic.com/collections/all

I'd give them a break if they had been in business a year, but this is the premiere of their website. A simply mistake like that should have been fixed before the website went online. And it's not nit picky, either. If I wanted to nit pick, I'd point out something on their premiere release cover that isn't quite right.

Always great when a new label sees the light of day, and especially when they are not afraid of releasing comtemporary scores (i.e. not exclusively symphonic golden and silver age scores), but I guess most people interested in Thelma & Louise already bought Kritzerland's version? And the postage to Europe ($14) is of course obnoxious, but that's of course the post office's fault and not the label.

In the spirit of Justin's first post (but not his second or third), I would add that THELMA & LOUISE is a fantastic score worthy of circulating in the marketplace. I'm glad it's getting another shot. I bought Kritzerland's release so I doubt I'll need to pick this one up, but assuming the mix and content are the same, it's a very fine release indeed. One of Zimmer's overlooked gems. Couldn't agree more. This and Rain Man I think are really fine scores.
