Intrada has done a marvelous job on THE HEIRESS tracks. Even the "archival" sound is so much better than the quality of the previous recordings out there, which sounded as if the acetates were being scraped with a cheese grater. All this has somehow been considerably cleaned.
So glad I already got my copy -- I recommend this highly to everyone else! Yes the sound is "archival" but Chris actually managed to make it quite listenable.
