Last July, I was introduced to a product that I had never heard of. The more I read about it, the more skeptical I became. All of the claims simply sounded too good to be true.
Six months later, I joined the Enagic Company, and became a distributor.
This water has changed my life!
I've been sharing gallons of it with many of my friends, and the health and healing reports I've been hearing from them are nothing short of miraculous!

Anyone here drinking Kangen Water?

If you'd like to learn more about this amazing product, visit www.futurebestplan.com , or simply type "kangen water" at YouTube. You'll find many incredible testimonials there!

No, but what you describe reminds me of various 'hoax' pyramid schemes. I always stay MILES away from these 'products'. If I want eat or drink healthily, I do it the oldfashioned way. If it works for you, though, great!

I've heard good things about drinking your own piss. Anybody here into that?

Like I said, fellas, I had a very strong skepticism about this product, just as you do. However, now that I'm drinking the water, and about twenty of my friends are as well, the health benefits are quite evident.

I'd like to add that my twenty friends who have been drinking Kangen Water for the last month were carefully selected. They include career educators and industrial chemists.
All of them have told me that they will never drink conventional water again.

I'm a fan of heavy water since it's suppose to help with weight loss. Just add a dash of uranium 235 and you'll feel the fat melting off. Literally.

Eau de cologne. Nothing on earth tastes quite like it.

That's disconcerting to hear. Unless you live in a country where the water supply is lacking (in its filtration, for example), "conventional" water is by far the most healthy. It contains certain bacteria you need to build your immune system. This applies to most western, industrialized countries.

Sorry, Chris, I don't mean to rain on your parade, but I've heard about several such 'products' over the years, and they've all been more or less baloney. Most positive feedback has been the cause of 'psycho-somatic' effects more than anything ('placebo effect'). I'm reminded of the bit in THE KING OF QUEENS, where Doug is convinced by his neighbour (Bryan Cranston) to sell 'water filters' to people he knows because of their alleged health benefits.

You're a Baby Boomer, Chris! You know, the generation that warned itself not to trust anyone over thirty, so it breaks my black heart to see you fall for this heavy water con game, especially this many years after Altamont, which should have destroyed your idealism forever. wink

However, it does not surprise me that so many FSMers are overweight. No wonder you boys never contribute to the booze and food threads we've had here over the years--it all hits too close to home.

Last Child, and Jim...I have no idea what heavy water is. Never heard of it.

Kangen Water is micro-clustered, ionized, alkaline water that has been produced (at my kitchen sink) by a Class A medical device that utilizes eight medical-grade, solid titanium and platinum plates.
The water contains a powerful antioxidant called the negative hydrogen ion, or hydroxyl ion.
Ionized water is alkaline, which helps balance the pH levels in the body. Ionized Kangen Water is six times more hydrating and oxygenating than conventional water.
Micro-clustered, ionic water scavenges free radicals in the body.
Free radicals cause the breakdown of cells, they steal molecules from healthy tissue, and they create unstable, mutated cells. Free radicals are responsible for all disease.
Kangen Water creates a surplus of energy in a hydrated, alkaline environment, which flushes toxins out of cells, and oxygenates those cells with every heartbeat.

It's my sense that the basic right to clean drinking water has already begun its inexorable slide towards becoming a boutique commodity, which will ultimately become unaffordable for common folk.

So I say let people enjoy it any way they can WHILE they can.
(Until someone comes up with a solution, that is! smile)

(PS. Chris knows what he's talking about.
There is a proven, measurable science behind what he's saying.
I don't use the stuff, but if more people knew about the principles involved (and it was not in direct competition with Big Water Companies), it would be much less looked upon as some sort of scam.)

which flushes toxins out of cells

That line is used in the description of many natural remedies, by the marketing company or random users. I would love to see an electron microscope film which documents this effect on a molecular level. I doubt anyone could even identify what a "toxin" was, let alone prove the ingested product had that effect.
Just a pet peeve of mine; nothing personal, Chris.

True.
But it's important to remember that some of those products work--they just can't necessarily be explained at the time.
As time goes on, we learn more and more about that which used to be unexplainable mysteries.
(One day in 1928, Alexander Fleming asked, "What is going on with this mould?".)

It's also important to remember that EVERYTHING we buy has a marketing ploy behind it. Everything.
It all comes down to which marketing ploys are deemed by us to have credibility or plausibility.

People can do whatever they want, and Chris can drink whatever water he wishes. I'm saying that for me, based on experience with similar products, it's 90% baloney. If anything, proper science has proven that normal drinking water beats any kind of distilled, bottled water any day of the week. I saw a programme on this recently, where they compared such products to the water in your tap, to disprove the urban myths and pseudo-scientific 'brainwash' lingo following such marketing ploys. It was very revealing...it was a Norwegian science programme, but I'll see if I can find it.

Well, you are over-generalizing, but I agree--linking to a source would be more helpful.
