Rewatched Twister last night looking forward to this release. Movie is just as daffy as I remembered it but I focused specifically on the score in this viewing and man...this really was Mancina's magnum opus. The themes fire on all cylinders and really are just as good as anything someone like James Horner would have written. I also realized how many statements and variations were left off the original album and how much great music was missing. The underscore is propulsive and driven. Twister is one I would urge any film score lover, especially one who is a lover of great themes, not to miss.

I am. I've only seen flying bits and pieces of the movie on TV over the decades and never acquired the previous CD release of the score, so it'll be new to me.

Give the movie a watch, it's fun 90s hollywood flick. The score really has an uplifting feel to it, Mancina knocked it out of the park. I guarantee you the first track "Wheatfield" will have you feeling good and turning up the volume. The music brings out the adventure and danger of the movie.

I think that after the Expanded Peacemaker score by La La Land, Twister is another dream/holy grail that comes true.... Finally!!!! At last!!!
Now we have a wonderful trilogy of uplifting, high-octane, arresting, thrills-galore, rousing scores by Mark Mancina and LLL
-Twister
-Speed 1 & 2
two other entries are also very welcome : Bad Boys and Money Train

In addition, Twister is a movie that deserves to receive a 4K Blu-Ray release, withHDR and Dolby Atmos or DTS;X soundtrack

I sure wish Creature Feature would get this wrapped up already. Much prefer when La La Land handles the autograph duties. This wait is getting silly.

Give Creature Features a call if you can. They're extremely slow. They explained to me that when Mark Mancina came to the signing, they ran out of time and he couldn't finish all of the signatures. So he took all the CDs home and continued to sign them at home. Mancina shipped them to Creature Features some time last week, which is when they started sending them out.

However, they seem kind of disorganized so I'd definitely call them.

I originally went in the store to pick up my copy when they told me all of this, so then I paid for shipping and asked them to send it to me when it arrived. But after some time passed and I called them, they said they had made a mistake and hadn't shipped to me yet, so I just went in person to finally pick it up.

Also, they are not open on Mondays or Tuesdays, so that will result in slower response times.

Definitely worth the wait though - the score is amazing and the additional music is spectacular. Of all the Zimmer-related music of the 90s, this score is truly one of the better ones. Skillful orchestrations, great melodies - Mark Mancina has a lot of skill.
