An excellent Music Box batch ! I remember the LP of A Summer Story I bought numerous years ago, during the transitional period between vinyl and CD ... A gorgeous and romantic score, very representative to the Delerue's abilities and style.
As I didn't have the CD and it has never been expanded, the MBR edition is very welcome. Thank you.
Ok so yeah, this is a great score but I have one little niggle...it seems the booklet should have said the film version of A Gentle Maiden is 30 seconds SHORTER than the album version. I'm also wondering if the 'alternate clean opening' still applies to it and not the album version as the other way around makes more sense? I dunno. Very small detail, but...still confusing.
