Congrats to composer Justin Hurwitz for winning BEST ORIGINAL SCORE at the Golden Globes for his awesome score for La La Land. He and lyricists Benj Pasek and Justin Paul also won BEST ORIGINAL SONG for the song, "City Of Stars."
I recently met the lyricists at an event in LA, super nice charming guys. Justin was equally kind and so darn humble. Congrats Team La La Land!
Here is a photo of me and Justin yesterday at an event coupled with my score album signed by Justin.
Here is a photo of my newly signed La La Land soundtrack signed by the director, composer and both lyricists. Such a fun score and I hope fellow fans of film music peeps have been enjoying it!
I gotta giggle at all this love and awards thrown La-La Land's way.
Kudos, gents!

Has business increased (or at least web traffic) since this film's release?
To be honest with you, we did post our 4th best quarter ever (after a fairly uneventful year)! It may have been due to all the additional promotion we got on Ferris, the release of Jonny Quest or X Files Vol 3 or even a dino sized set, but, perhaps, we benefited from the future Oscar winning namesake film. It's no wonder who we will be rooting for come Oscar night!
WHAT? The award for Best Score didn't go to Chinatown? Everybody knows it's the best score ever written for any film, ever! In fact, they shouldn't even bother with nominations anymore. They should just automatically declare Chinatown the winner every year.

I know. It's one of Gustavo Santaolalla's Best Ever!
Maybe he would have won if he scored SANTAO LA LLA LAND?
