you mean TV? He did themes for several projects. I see he did one previous series before THE WILD KRATTS, so thanks for the correction. I thought the Del Toro was his first American series. I'll eat my shoe if Desplat scored an episode of Wild Kratts, lol. I'll bet that episode at most just had a licensed piece of one of his film scores. Happens all the time at IMDB, users update it without knowing the "Composer" credit is only for original material.

I couldn't find that episode with the end credits intact, but I did find the one before and after it with the end credits intact, and the credited composer is Pure West. I think it's unlikely Desplat scored an episode, too.

Wow, an absolute rave from THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER - for the film and the score: "Complemented throughout by a sumptuously melodic score from Alexandre Desplat, with gentle accordion strains that underline the affecting story's disarming sweetness, along with snatches of the classic musical tunes that Giles and Elisa love, this meticulously crafted jewel is del Toro's most satisfying work since Pan's Labyrinth."

I saw the film at the London Film Festival this morning. The film is sublime, touching, moving with stunningly beautiful production design which must be a serious Oscar contender. The score has a truly beautiful main theme which must rank as one of Desplat's best. Film has a lot of songs, many composed by Harry Warren.........Score was recorded by London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Desplat. There is also a whistler on the score.....that is also Desplat. Movie is well worth seeing when it opens in December......This may be a film with a song album and a seperate score album. I'll certainly buy the score CD.
