There is no 2CD expansion of The Last Of The Mohicans. Did you mean Dances With Wolves?

Ouch... quoting Cimmerian, which is a bootleger, after LLL and Intrada, which are legal comagnies, is NOT a good idea.

EDIT: I'm with you on a expanded release from Willow. I saw the movie in a theater when it was released and it's still my favorite score from Horner.

Good luck! But I don't think the labels really have to be reminded of this score or its popularity. Also, I'm unfamiliar with Cimerrian Records, which makes me suspicious of its legitimacy.

EDIT: At the exact same time I posted, it seems that Henry Jones was confirming my suspicions about Cimerrian.

I'm all for an expanded Willow, but this will get you nowhere. Just be patient. It'll come eventually. Hopefully Sneakers too.

I dont think itll hurt, so why not try anyway? Okay well Ive been waiting over 10 years. They released KRULL eventually but this one I think is tied up at Lucasfilm. If you dont want to sign, fine, but dont poo-pa me for trying.

Yeah, good to get rid of Cimerrian Records. But might I also add:

1. We're not in the days of the 1990's anymore -- tons of things we thought would never see the light of day, are out, and "Willow" is Intrada territory, so it's obvious this is just a matter of time, not a matter of no interest.

2. A petition for a well known score that is possible to release, isn't needed -- it's goign to happen at some point. Now if you want to petition Sony, for example, who won't let the rights go to "Titanic" so some label like LLLR (for example, though I could have named one of a dozen off hand) can do it, that's a petition worth some time. Whether Sony will listen, that's another story -- it is kind of a big seller for them (I don't know if it still is though).
Or a petition to the stubborn rights holders to "Slipstream".
Or one to the Canadian musician's union, to try and get them to play ball on the fees, so release of Canadian scores are financially feasible.

3. change.org? Really? Maybe you'd also like some commercials on the Art Bell rado show or Code Pink to promote your endeavor. Might I suggest a more sane reputable petition site, especially one that doesn't have so many batshit crazy petitions on it.

It was just a side project. If you dont want to help THEN DONT SIGN IT. But why dont you ease up off my back? My god.

Then why dont you do it if you know so much?

I already explained -- it isn't really needed, so why in the wortld would I do?

I cant believe the amount of crap Im getting on this site. I was just trying to do something.

And we apprecaite it, but don't expect the internet to jump up and down and yell "Yippie!" about it. This is one of my personal favorite Horner scores and I look forward to an eventual full release.

I dont have my whole life hanging off of this. It was just a side project.

Ah, what does that have to do with anything?

If you dont want to help THEN DONT SIGN IT.

It seems pretty clear I'm not because it's not needed, and plus I'd have to have had a full frontal brain screwing to sign anything on that site.

But why dont you ease up off my back? My god.

Calm down, man. If you think making helpful comments and one criticism is me being on your back, I suggest stepping away from the computer and going for a walk. You're clearly not in a state of mind to participate here or any other website. My God indeed.

Unemployed on your profile...might want to write in "professional troll" and/or "Nimrod".

You are not worth any further response. You are a waste of blood.

Okay, you can think that if you want. If you bothered to read any of the threads on the score you brought up, you'd know otherwise. Furthermore, resurrecting all those threads and posting the same in all of them, is spamming the site; it doesn't take half a dozen thread to get our attention.

Is this YOR person back? RFabiano is a Member Since - December 23, 2016

If I had a record label and anyone made a petition to release a score, I would stay away from it or push it to the bottom of the pile. If you want it released so bad, ask your Mom to co-sign a loan for you to start up your own record label! CDs are dying and the labels are releasing what they can as fast as they can. There is obviously not enough other good scores for you to ask for a score that is probably tied up legally with the passing of Mr. Horner. Put your copy on and press replay. Have a Happy Holiday season.

I'm curious as to what you think you will accomplish with this petition.

It's not like our favored labels aren't aware of the demand for an expansion of this score, and if there are other legal or financial hurdles, a petition would have no effect on them one way or another.

As someone who owns a soundtrack label that specializes in releases like this I can tell you this: this petition is a waste of time and serves no purpose whatsoever.

Good lord, a few comments he doesn't like and he's deleting his post? Man. Well, here it is for the sake of anybody who wants to know what he originally spammed the board with (especially if he's deleting the others as well):

I have a petition going for a FULL release of the Willow score. Please sign if interested:

https://www.change.org/p/petition-for-a-complete-or-expanded-release-of-the-james-horner-willow-score

Its a financial thing- they might be willing to take another look at this if they think there will be interest.
