He was the rich kid in the Little Rascals short "Hi, Neighbor!" who had the fancy fire engine kiddy car and who lost his pants!

That sounds familiar. It looks as if most of his career was an "uncredited" one.

Jerry was a good friend. We met through the Sons of the Desert. Several years ago I produced a show for one of our banquets, GREAT GUNS - THIS IS THE ARMY! Jerry (who was in the Navy during WWII) got into a sailor suit and sang "How about a Cheer For the Navy!" He was a sweet, sweet guy and toured the country - mostly campuses - with a slide show about his career in show business.

That's exactly what I had in mind. Even you, Mr. Kinsinger, must've seen that one.

This morning I ran into a buddy of mine who told me his Dad died a couple days ago. He too was 91.

To add a little perspective, looks like Jerry's in bed at far left here around 1:12:48--

And rescued by a wooden soldier at 1:15:26 (?).

a short and final blip on perspective...

He was the rich kid in the Little Rascals short "Hi, Neighbor!" who had the fancy fire engine kiddy car and who lost his pants!

...Jean Darling, the little blondie riding with Jerry, died last year at 93.
