Anyone remember Van William's early memorable guest shot on The Dick Van Dyke Show, where he played one of Laura Petrie's old suitors.

Also remember Williams in 1974 Gunsmoke episode, "30 Month And Found."

I only wish we'd had The Green Hornet as a proper series broadcast in the UK at the time.

It wasn't shown here? I had no idea (I saw it in Barbados in the 1980s).

There was BATMAN ep where he and Adam West were having lunch together accompanied by a woman.
I couldn't help but think that this woman( and much of the female audience) must have been fantasizing about a three-way!
LOL!

It is strange to read it only ran 26 eps.
It was hugely popular among my friends and his car and Kato were considered the epitome of cool!
Plus, the theme song was also popular>

The last original episode of the show aired on March 17, 1967, but ABC aired repeats of the series after its cancellation until July 14, 1967.

Bob, I'm surprised that you didn't mention that Van William's costar from "Surfside Six" Diane McBain also appeared in the two part rossover episode of "Batman" as Pinky Pinkston where The Green Hornet and Kato invade Gotham City and do battle with Colonel Gumm with Batman and Robin.
