Finally saw this crazy mess of a film and it sure is meant for "adolescent boys", basically a pseudo-porno that screams psychedelic trip. It started kid of as a B-budget exploitation sci-fi flick but pretty rapidly descended into pure camp. Once it hit that point, it actually became entertaining, mainly for the ridiculous ideas it came up with.

The music is entertaining sci-fi exotica that Les Baxter wouldn't be unfamiliar with but those vocal songs were pure kitsch unless the singers weren't as seriously devoted to the material as they sounded to be.

The main reason I saw it was the A VIEW TO A KILL thread which reminded me of Duran Duran who got their name from the villain in the film. So I finally decided to put in the effort.

Kind of reminded me of THE LABYRINTH (and it features a labyrinth).

Probably won't see the film again but the music was entertaining enough and so glad it's still available for digital download:

Not sure if this is FULLY COMPLETE though? Sounds like a few minor cues are missing.

This ‘adolescent boy’ absolutely loves this movie. It’s perfect just the way it uniquely is. Same for the score. Unfortunately my favourite piece is the one that’s slightly trimmed. The sequence where Duran Duran unleashes the positronic ray at the end. Absolute magic!

It's too bad there are bits and pieces missing, but it seems close enough. I did enjoy the music so I'm looking to get it and add to my playlist of similar music.

The movie was fun too, and while I would like to move on to other films I haven't seen yet, I'm looking to explore this "genre" more with DANGER: DIABOLIK!
