Thanks, Adam B., for generously hosting this drawing. You are a class act, sir! And congrats to the winners. Happy holidays to everyone on the FSM boards.
Congratulations to Nicholasm79 & Brad Wills. And more importantly, Adam B. really knows the spirit of Christmas - being charitable to people he probably hasn't even met. It's not the gift but the incredible thought year after year, Adam. Absolutely a lovely gift.
Congrats to the 2 winners and most of all, thank you Adam B. for adding a bit of early cheer to my holiday and exemplifying the true meaning of Christmas!
Well now that that's settled I think this is a perfect time to rewatch Christmas In July. And I've always had a soft spot for that Twilight Zone when Art Carney played a tipsy Kringle with a sober heart. Cherry brandy? 1903 vintage?? Sounds yummy.
Brad and Nicholas...your prize will be in the mail this Saturday, December 10. I hope it brings you many years of enjoyment. Thank you to everyone for your kind comments.
Now that the contest is over I'll say my favorites are the animated TV classics that I grew up with.
1) A Charlie Brown Christmas
The unforgettable Vince Guaraldi score combined with sharp humor make this my top choice.
2) How The Grinch Stole Christmas
In the days before VCRs my sister and I recorded the whole show onto audio cassette and played it so many times it's burned into my brain.
3) Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer
I enjoy the stop-motion animation and joyous songs.
