If you have an order with several items it may be that a single item that's out of stock can hold up the order. You can instruct SAE when you place the order to send what is available and cancel the remainder, which you can reorder later. Also, if you have been waiting for a long while you can send them an email instructing them to ship your order with what is available. Especially if you have ordered an item from overseas it could be holding things up, and depending on the item, it may ultimately be no longer available. But SAE stays on top of what is or is not available and they won't hold your order unless they have a reasonable expectation that the out of stock item will eventually show up. Best of all, they do not charge your credit card until your order is shipped. Some vendors charge up front, which I hate.

The point of the thread was whether SAE posted accurate inventory in real time. In Lokutus' case, his titles were (and are) listed as in-stock so his order should have shipped 3 weeks ago. But they did post they were inundated recently... I dont think anyone would confuse a soundtrack label with Amazon - not because they dont have 100's of employees, but because it's hard to imagine there are enough orders to cause delays.
