Anyone know what's going on? No confirmation emails for orders. No one responds to emails. Hangs ups when calls are made. Any insights?

They're extremely busy processing all the orders from their Bluray sale. They've always responded to my questions in the past.
Did you really need to start seven different threads about this?

From their Facebook page:

To all those that have placed orders during this current Twilight Time sale - we are extremely overwhelmed with orders and we are doing the best we can to get your orders out in a timely manner. For every e-mail and phone call being taken with the same questions are only so many more orders not being shipped. Please be patient and wait for your shipment confirmation, we promise it is on its way as soon as possible! Thank you very much for your business and patience at this time.

Interesting... wondering how they ship these orders our exactly!

It would made sense to ship the oldest orders first, don't you think?

Interesting that my order has been waiting to be shipped for more than a week now (confirmed they have everything ready for at least a week) while the order itself was placed on 31/10.

How they manage to stay in business if they seem to be 6 weeks behind schedule shipping orders or is there really that many unshipped pre-October 31st orders still waiting to be shipped?

Reaching down to BSX level of speed!

Please keep in mind, SAE is not Amazon. They do not have thousands of employees, patience. They will get to everyone's order smile

You have to look at what your order has sometimes. I know if I have a popular title or European title in on order, it may be back ordered or still coming across the ocean - I'd rather they spend time doing work then fielding snarky impatient pestering from spoiled people. Christ, don't ya'll have enough to listen to, or *gasp* revisit? I wonder if anyone really appreciates anything - just consume, then "Next!". Trying pulling an oldie alongside a new title to play now and then, if you have time.
Maybe old age brings patience after all....anyway, there's probably something in your order holding up the rest, so relax.
Go play Red Eye again....by the time it's done, you'll have your order and Christmas will be here. Might he fun to experience that one all over again, imagine that?
Thus endeth the lecture. ...I'll go play Ennio's Untouchables now, and wait patiently for stuff....

Astonishing how people don't stop to consider these things, eh?

Its not there fault if labels are holding back there cd's that while longer what are SAE supposed to do about that its beyond there control I've had a couple of hold ups in the past makes no difference to me there good reliable shippers.

General question. If I were interested in a La La Land title that is out of stock at La La Land, but is listed as available for purchase from screen archives, can I purchase it from them? Meaning, do they have stock on hand, or do they plan on ordering it from La La Land after I place my order?

Best to contact them to be sure since their stock is not updated in real time.

Last week I ordered a mix of old, new, used and pre-order cds. I wanted to consolidate the order to minimize shipping, and asked about availability. They said everything that's online is current, so I guess they've improved their order processing.

In general, they have stock on hand unless otherwise noted. In general.

I don't know what title you ordered, but could it be a delay from the label itself? Like the repressing of E.T.?

Not necessarily - I wanted to order BIG JAKE from SAE and I assumed it was in stock and it said I could add it to my cart only to find out it was actually out of stock and was told it was back ordered when I inquired about the order.

I eventually got the CD in about three weeks but I think they could be clearer on their site if something is out of stock or not. Many sites play this game so you will order from them instead of going elsewhere to order the same item...

Movie Music has real time inventory and one dollar shipping if you order three scores. The owner is also a stand up guy and fast with replies.

Not necessarily

Yes. That's why I wrote "in general." Twice.

The point is, yes, they keep stock on hand. They do not order CDs one at a time from the label as orders come in. But sometimes, items go out of stock, and their site is not equipped to always alert you when this happens.

Yes, why don't you enlighten us as to exactly what was in your order.
