THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE---new trailer introduces Stephen Root (NEWSRADIO, OFFICE SPACE) as The Man in the High Castle.

ATLANTIC WALL---Bradley Cooper stars in this World War II movie described as "A lone American paratrooper, stranded behind enemy lines hours before D-Day, is tasked with delivering intelligence critical to the outcome of the war and compelled to fulfill a promise to protect the young son of a murdered ally." The movie starts filming in Normandy in 2018. Gavin O'Connor (THE ACCOUNTANT) is the director.





THE WALL---photo released from the movie about two US soldiers trapped behind a crumbling wall by an Iraqi sniper. Aaron Taylor-Johnson (GODZILLA) and John Cena (TRAINWRECK) star. Doug Liman (THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, EDGE OF TOMORROW) is the director.





STAR TREK: DISCOVERY---two more cast additions were announced. Doug Jones (HELLBOY, FALLING SKIES) will play alien Starfleet Science Officer Lieutenant Saru. Anthony Rapp (RENT) will play the Discovery's gay Science Officer/astromycologist Lieutenant Stamets.





ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY---sources said Tony Gilroy (THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, THE BOURNE IDENTITY) was brought in for rewrites at $200,000 per week. But as his role expanded to include reshoots, including the movie's end, Gilroy will earn over $5 million.

THE WALKING DEAD---Jeffrey Dean Morgan commented on rumors that Negan will be killed off in Season 7, "I know I will be on board for Season 8. We've finished [Season 7]. He commented on Season 7's final two episodes, "The next two, I'm really big in. I'm f***ing heavy in those."
Also, rumors began that Daryl Dixon will be killed off in Season 8 after Norman Reedus signed a new contract for one year.

BACK TO THE FUTURE---producer Frank Marshall said there won't be a remake of the classic Michael J. Fox movie as long as he's around, “Yeah [we won’t reboot BACK TO THE FUTURE], as long as I have my say. No, that one exists just like E.T. – we’re never touching those. I love watching it.”

HOTEL ARTEMIS---Jodie Foster will star in this sci fi movie. Drew Pearce (IRON MAN 3, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE-ROGUE NATION) is the writer/director. No plot details were released.

DON'T WORRY, HE WON'T GET TOO FAR ON FOOT---Joaquin Phoenix will star in this biomovie about quadriplegic cartoonist Joe Callahan. Gus Van Sant is the director.

Z NATION---Syfy renewed the series for Season 4.

RAMPAGE---director Brad Peyton (SAN ANDREAS) said about the Dwayne Johnson monster movie based on the video game, "It’s going to be a lot more emotional, a lot scarier and a lot more real than you’d expect. So you look at that original concept about a lab that affects these animals and makes them rampage, and that’s the nugget."

VALLEY GIRL---Jessica Rothe (LA LA LAND) will star in the musical remake of the 1983 comedy movie.

THE KINGKILLER CHRONICLES---Lionsgate movie/tv franchise underway based on the novel trilogy.
