I am coming to the festival for the first time next April. Are there any other FSM'ers who plan to attend?

Once my husband retires, in mid 2017, we intend to make it an annual tradition.

The theme this year is "Make 'Em Laugh," featuring comedy films. For the gala first-night screening at the TCL Chinese Theatre, I'm wondering if a restored 197-min version (or even the 210-min preview version) of IT'S A MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD will be featured. That would be a special occasion indeed.

On the music front, Quincy Jones will be in attendance during a 50th anniversary screening of IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT.

I live just a few blocks up the hill, and I've attended as many of the Festivals as I can. I'l be there in April.
