Of course, why support the labels - you know, the ones who are spending a lot of money to give people the titles they desire. Yeah, why support them, when it can be all about you. I get it, I really do.
It isn't "all about me" at all. If something is available I might buy. If it isn't I obviously won't. I honestly can't afford to pay more than necessary to "support the label". I'm grateful that others do, but I can't afford to. Sorry.
BTW, Peter said "This title is NOT sold out" in regards to Starship Troopers. Should I assume this applies to Volcano as well?
Justin and Haines have both stated they don't understand so I'd like to offer an explanation into the psychology of shopping. I saw this every day at the store I used to run. E v e r y d a y.
If there's plenty of an item, customer won't buy. If they think it's the last one in stock, they'll buy in a second.
Supply and demand behavioral economics. Insane? Kinda. But it is absolutely how people shop.
As far as the confusion, I firmly believe that if someone is confused, they are confused. If people are confused, it's confusing.

No, I thought we just went through a cycle where everything doesn't sell out anymore and then we read that some CDs are almost sold out right under our noses. Every one who hadn't bought them but wanted too had a half hour to decide if they wanted them. People were surprised and some pulled the trigger. Others paid more because of the panic. Been there. I didn't on these but now I have time to watch the movies again to see if I really have too have them or after I purchase them end up playing them once and forget I bought them.

And I know the exact opposite too. Customers don't like to buy the last item on the shelf because they have a psychological reaction it's outdated or damaged. Which is why stores always want shelves full and fronted.
