And Josef Weiss in the television miniseries "Holocaust". I loved that threatening monotone of his. R.I.P. Fritz Weaver. They don't have anybody like him anymore (probably because of his voice).
90 is a long life A good age I remember Fritz Weaver in a few series quite a talented actor in TV series & Films Shocking day R.I.P. Fritz Weaver farewell Brother.
I always think of him as Thomas Magnum's former (and corrupt) C.O. in the pilot of Magnum P.I. and the Professor renting a room in the horrifying episode of "Tales from the Darkside".
It wouldn't be so bad losing great character actors like this if there were some talented new ones replacing them.

Actually he was renting out a room to a lovely college student. He doesn't kill her, and that's all I'm saying if you haven't seen the episode.
An excellent portrayer of dangerously evil men. He was superb in "The Vulcan affair"/ "To trap a spy", the highlight of the first season and one of the top line of the entire "U.N.C.L.E." series as a really creepy man. No gimmicks or outbursts just subdued evil ready to manifest itself in epic proportions via a well thought out system.
Was he the brother of Dennis Weaver or was that same last name just a coincidence?
