An 'Intrada' is an introductory piece or passage in a musical work. Like the Italian 'Intrata' or 'Intrare', not quite an overture. A sort of entrance. It wasn't conjured up from thin air. Company names do tend to mean something. P.S. 'Sorry, Basil W beat me to it, I see.

I was down the pub tonight, and I had the 15-CD box set of Star Trek with me (for some reason), and a man said, "Wow I love Star Trek, holy cow, are those the songs?" and I said yes, and he asked what the record label was, maybe Motown? And I said no, and he took the box off me and said "LAY-LA LAND? Laughing out loud here man!", but it got me thinking - What is the correct pronunciation of La-La Land?
