Lea, you say that, “punctuation is not needed,” and you later say “so ignore.” Ask yourself why people post on the board. Why do you post on the board? (And you post quite often.) We post because we want people to READ our thoughts and ideas concerning scores and movies. I quit reading dan because he would never use paragraphs to break down his longer posts and because he didn’t use punctuation. This is an English speaking board, and even those from other countries write in English. I refuse to have to DECIPHER English, which is what we have to do when there is zero punctuation. Sorry about your mom and grandmother, but our problems do NOT excuse any of us from starting a sentence with a capital letter and ending a complete sentence with a period. We all make a few punctuation or grammatical errors now and then, but such minute errors don’t cause people to have to struggle to figure out the meaning of our compositions. Why should reading any of your thoughts be laborious? I and some others finally did ignore dan’s ramblings. (Too tough on the eyes.) Maybe you want us to “ignore” you too, but then you’d have to ask yourself why bother posting? I think you can do better, Lea.
