For whatever reason there still wasn't a thread about this upcoming movie and score, which was recorded at Abbey Road Studios last month...

The soundtrack album is coming soon from Sony Classical...

Excited for another Silvestri release

A WWII romance with glamorous movie stars...sounds like a wonderful canvas for music. Silvestri's The Walk was one of last year's best scores (and the movie was excellent and underrated), so I'm looking forward to this.

The last 5 track titles are also titles of well known songs from that period. But, it could be 50 minutes of score as well.

Ah, OK.

I don't mind, really. Seems to be a good representation of score on there. Looking forward to this; any new Silvestri is something to explore, but I've always said I'd like to see him do more serious stuff these days. Preferably more contemporary, but this will do as well.

This looks like the most boring movie ever made, despite my affection for Zemeckis.

Actually, I was riveted by the trailer. I look forward to it.

Not enough explosions and Zimmer BWAMMMMMMMMMMs, I take it?

Yes, I'm very unsure about this film. I also think THE WALK seems like an incredibly boring film (it's basically the premise I find uninteresting), so I haven't mustered up the stamina to watch it yet. Zemeckis needs another edgy film. I loved FLIGHT.

THE WALK was incredibly captivating. You should absolutely try it.

Looking forward to ALLIED as well, just because I love old-school movie magic and Robert Zemeckis is one of the best directors around.

Don't listen to that guy, Thor. The Walk is painful. JGL's CBS behind-the-scenes narration, in that embarrassing French accent and with those contact lenses, is the worst thing about it, but after you've seen Man On Wire, what was the point of making this? The actual walk between the towers was likely spellbinding in the a theater, but on video it loses all of its appeal (like Avatar, for one example).

DonĀ“t listen to this guy, Thor, he seems to enjoy being negative.

I'll probably get to it regardless. But it's the FLIGHT Zemeckis I want to see, not the motion capture Zemeckis or the 'cheesy' melodrama Zemeckis (this ALLIED film also seems like that, even if it may have great production values).

The Walk is a great film, I enjoyed it in the theater in IMAX3D, as well as again a second time at home.

I never saw Man on Wire until after both viewings of The Walk, and I didn't like it as much as The Walk.
