Seen some of this NAPOLEON DYNAMITE / EDWARD SCISSORHANDS Universe feeling Netflix show and noticed the music is very Danny Elfmanish /Tim Burtonish. Seems like they gave the composer the instructions "Make it as Danny Elfmanish as you can! We can't afford to pay you what he gets, but hey, your working!"
Music sounds pretty good and very Elfmanish/Burtonish.

What do you all think of the show and the music, if you have seen it?
I found Colleen Ballinger's original youtube Miranda Sings offerings kind of fun and interesting when I first became aware of her. As a series, the main character of Miranda becomes very unlikable very fast and I think the concept would have been a better 1 time movie. Stretching it out into an 8 episode TV show was a big pill to take. But the production values are top notch and much better than the content they were created to serve. A show made about a gal with a tremendous ego by a girl with a tremendous ego.
It used to be on a demo compilation on the composer's site, but now I can't find it on any of hte composers I think did it, though I think it was him. It's frustrating as hell, I even contacted Elias Music since it was done under that composer's agency, but never got a reply (no, it wasn't Elias who did it -- that much I know).
Shouldn't this be in the "General Discussions" area?
Anyways, I listened to the clips on the site, and must say I didn't hear much Elfman. Perhaps just a little bit. Just because there are a lot of waltz figures, doesn't mean it's EDWARD SCISSORHANDS. But pretty decent music nonetheless!
