Kino Lorber have confirmed that they are preparing a Blu-ray release of director Franklin Adreon's film Cyborg 2087 (1966), starring Michael Rennie, Karen Steele, Wendell Corey, Warren Stevens, and Eduard Franz. The release is expected to arrive on the market early next year.
Plot: In the year 2087, a cyborg is sent to 1966 to prevent a scientist from making a breakthrough, and the opposition sends an agent to prevent the cyborg from carrying out his mission... Cinematography by Alan Stensvold (Thunder Road).
First, Dimension 5. Now this... Kino Lorber have confirmed that they are preparing a Blu-ray release of director Franklin Adreon's film Cyborg 2087 (1966)
2 of the 8 Harold Goldman Associates films. I wonder if they're doing all of them? Would be great if they released "Run Like A Thief" in its original widescreen. Some of these titles were released on home video, but terribly cropped for full screen: Panic in the City (1968) Eve (1968) The Destructors (1968) The Money Jungle (1967) Run Like a Thief (1967) Cyborg 2087 (1966) Dimension 5 (1966) Destination Inner Space (1966)
Again.... some great Dunlap music in there if you're prepared to wade through a second rate movie. BUT how much of the score is actually needle-drop library music (written presumably by Dunlap) is still a question for me.

Harold Goldman Associates also seems to have been involved with:
Flight to Fury (1966) Sunscorched (1966) Ride the High Wind [aka African Gold] (1967) The Violent Ones (1967) The Angry Breed (1968) Dayton's Devils (1968)
Paul Dunlap told me he had no memory of doing this film.
Bits sound like Dunlap. Other bits don't. It's a mystery. But I'm fairly convinced that the music came from either a library or some previous scores, and that little or no new material was written for it (by the look of things, the producers could afford Rennie and that's about it...!!!).
Maybe I'm wrong. Sadly this and other Dunlap credited movies are so low on the radar that I doubt anyone will ever bother to do the detective work to find out.

MMM told he has the cue sheets for CYBORG 2087 and nothing credited to Paul was there.
