A CURE FOR WELLNESS---synopsis and trailer released for the thriller movie from Gore Verbinski (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN).
"An ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from an idyllic but mysterious “wellness center” at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. He soon suspects that the spa’s miraculous treatments are not what they seem. When he begins to unravel its terrifying secrets, his sanity is tested, as he finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests here longing for the cure."

GAME OF THRONES---George RR Martin suggested a GAME OF THRONES crossover with WESTWORLD to its co-creators, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Nolan commented, "He’s a lovely guy and a stunning writer and it’s flattering he would encourage a crossover. We should be so lucky...We’ve got an awful lot of material to cover just with WESTWORLD, but you want to stay tuned…”
Joy added, “I need to be believe that dragons are real. I want them be a real thing. So as much as I love George, I can’t lose that for myself!”
Also, a source said Peter Dinklage (Tyron Lannister) and Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) were spotted filming a scene dressed in black near a small boat on the beach. This led to speculation that this represents an alliance between Daenerys and Jon Snow.

SINBAD---latest fantasy adventure movie underway based on the character from ONE THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS. The first Sinbad movie was the 1958 THE 7TH VOYAGE OF SINBAD which featured Ray Harryhausen's special effects. Miguel Sapochnik (GAME OF THRONES) is the director.
WILLY WONKA---untitled Warner Bros. acquired the rights to the Roald Dahl estate and is developing a prequel movie about an early Willy Wonka adventure.
DOCTOR STRANGE---Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige confirmed Marvel asked Dan Harmon to add humor to the movie, "It is true that he was. He came in, he watched the movie...That was as important to us as any humor that he could add to the movie. And he was very, very gracious in doing that."
MARY POPPINS RETURNS---Colin Firth is in negotiations to play bank president William Weatherall Wilkins in the sequel.
EXTINCTION---sci fi movie underway with James McAvoy in talks to play a man who becomes a hero during an alien invasion of Earth. Ben Young (HOUNDS OF LOVE) is the director.
THE JINX---miniseries underway based on the book THE LOUDEST VOICE IN THE ROOM which is about the sex scandal that ended the career of Roger Ailes, chairman of Fox News.
THE YOUNG POPE---HBO renewed the series for Season 2 although it won't premiere on HBO until 2017.
THORGAL---movie underway based on the comic book.
