Born October 18, 1926, Mr. Morris attained the Big 9-0 a few days ago.
Apologies for the lateness, but I only just learned John was born the month before Laurence Rosenthal (November 4th, 1926).

I was watching The Producers yesterday. Although some of his ouevre was spoof-work and deliberately derivative of others' styles, man, that guy wrote some superb stuff.

Morris did a film called CLUE in 1985. Perhaps they're doing a remake and using some of his original score in it?
