This is a fun score to listen to with its two romantic/caper halves. It has memorable themes which are intelligently integrated into the score. The movie has one of the funniest score cues ever written (to accompany the famous Kevin Kline/Jamie Lee-Curtis love scene). The album is long out of print, so buy it if you have the chance.

I agree- I love this movie and I love this score (I cannot believe it was released 28 yrs ago (I am old)).

It's full-bodied score with much to recommend it. When you rip it place Tr1 at the end, 'cause I think those are the End Titles.

I bought this disc back in the day. My pressing has tiny pin holes in the aluminum layer you see daylight through, yet it has always played/ripped perfectly.

I agree 100%. This is a wonderful score to a wonderful movie. It compliments it perfectly. I suppose if one has not seen the movie or is not a big fan then the score will not mean much to you. Personally, this is my favorite comedy of all time. I grin ear to ear every time I watch it and listening to the music has the same effect.

This score is really a lot of fun. There is exciting rock-tinged action music for the heist, chases, and whatnot, some good suspense cues, the aforementioned Straussian pastiche for the sex scenes (“Humping”), but the whole thing is tied together by that wonderful guitar love theme.

The CD I have has two tracks that are not listed on the back of the jacket. I'm not sure how that happened.

Also the 14 minute suite of the score doesn't really make sense unless it's to pad out the shortish album.

I have this score. I love the music by John Du Prez...it is fun with a hint of seriousness...Love the Film also. I truly enjoy listening to the Love Theme, and John Williams Guitar cues are great. Great Lil Score.
