Just posted on LLL's Facebook.

It's that nail biting time of year again where Matt and I wait anxiously for final artwork approvals to come in on our big "Black Friday" releases...a tub of Tums and a bottle of Cold Duck are always on hand.
TWO of those approvals came in recently, so a collective sigh of relief can be heard at the triple L this week. As to how many more will make the final cut, only time will tell.
I will say this -- these two releases are considered HOLY GRAILS by some. We are honored to be releasing these fantastic soundtracks!

Let the speculation begin!

Is it a moot point that "holy grails" from LLL will be titles after 1980? frown

The Du Prez TMNT score(s) would be a great Black Friday treat!

I'd love some Goldenthal

"Alien 3"

Or if they managed to solve the issues for a release of "Batman & Robin"

Cold duck... Maybe "Howard and the Duck" or Ducktales

Virtually all of my holy grails are post-1980—except Moonraker (1979) and maybe a few others—so I certainly hope so!

I thought one of the Black Friday specials might be the Star Trek 50th Anniversary release, (which might have the Star Trek Animated suite). At least that's one of my guesses.

Do I still dare to hope for a Batman 66 soundtrack or a Six Million Dollar Man CD?

Cold duck... Maybe "Howard and the Duck" or Ducktales

Both are Disney (now), so it's Intrada territory...

And LLL doesn't do clues.

That said, I'll guess Fargo. cool

Do I still dare to hope for a Batman 66 soundtrack

MV pretty definitively said that was unlikely to come out from anyone, ever in a fairly recent post.

Don't know if the imminent 'John Williams' title will make the list in time but The Sugarland Express is a holy grail for some to consider? Also the much promised STAR TREK Anniversary set is scheduled for Nov 30th as per MV in an earlier related thread.

I know, I know, it's too good to be true, but I still hope that someday...

Since when have facts ever stopped fan speculation/hope?

My guess is that the two BERVERLY HILLS COP releases - hinted at in the recent Faltermeyer tease thread - might be forthcoming...

Best,

Probably not a holy grail to many, but I'm still waiting for that Midnight Run expansion MV mentioned a few years back... smile

almost any unreleased /unexpanded score is a holy grail for someone...

I don't think I'd buy a Batman '66 soundtrack unless it was a single or double CD of highlights (not a complete box), so it doesn't bother me, but I missed the comment that it was unlikely to ever come out.

What was the rationale behind that?

Cheers
