I know this is a tad nerdy, but I'm hoping the box is not as huge as it looks at Network or Amazon. The Space 1999 Season 1 I have is not half as fat as this one looks, and that's a normal size package, and that's seven discs so fingers crossed.. And with that hefty price tag, I'm afraid I'll be waiting for a sale (as I also did with Space) before I can afford it I think.

I'll probably wait for the price to come down also. I have yet to get Space;1999 Year Two and The Avengers, which I see are now priced around the £35 mark, so now might be a good time to get them. On the subject of UFO, I see Chris Bentley's book, The Complete Book of Gerry Anderson's UFO has been updated and revised, just in time for the Network release. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0995519102/ref=pd_sim_sbs_74_6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=ZTCJV6NMHVKEBBN77BVG

You know what John? I think it's almost a given that a) it's cheaper to buy now while it's 'pre-order' price, b) it hopefully will be a somewhat slimmer case as Space 1999 is, and c) there will be a Network sale sometime in the future where it will be much cheaper. It's not like it's labelled 'limited edition' or anything. So I'm going to leave it a while. I do have Vol 1 of the Carlton release. And even that is a pretty decent copy. God bless ITC and their wonderful good quality film stock..
