Boo hoo. I'm a Pittsburgh Pirates fan. Between 1993 and 2013 the Pirates had losing seasons for 20 years in a row. In 2001 they lost 100 games and in 2010 lost 105 games.
You'd think that the Twins would actually be inspired to do better, what with their new stadium and all. The new Vikings Stadium looks like a Jawa Sandcrawler, and Vikings lose all the time, too.
The Twins used to be my favorite team and baseball my favorite sport, but now I've converted to the Vikings and the NFL (although the baseball playoffs are awesome even without the Twins). The Twins really have no hope for next year like the 1982 Twins that had some of the pieces that contributed to their two World Series victories a few years later. Buxton showed some improvement towards the end, but he sure isn't looking like the best prospect in baseball (like some have labeled him in the past). Our pitching prospects have been nothing short of terrible. Miguel Sano hasn't wowed and I can see him having health problems every year. Our offense isn't that bad and probably above average, but I can't see our pitching being fixed in the off season enough to compete.
My advice: just ride the Vikings' impressive defense to the playoffs and forget about the Twins until next April.

Haha..Yes it does! Remember the Metrodome was a dump because it had a domed roof and retractable seating? Both items made it into the new stadium for some reason (although only half the roof is domed this time).
Having no idea what or who the Minnesota Twins are, I misread this as "Minnesota twins lose 100 grams", as if it were some weightloss news about two twins losing a minimal amount of weight! So is this baseball or American football you guys are talking about?
