Hanson's death seemed so jaw-dropping & calamitous that I've tried to find out more about what happened.
He had something called frontotemporal degeneration, and apparently he had no idea anything was wrong.

Sounds like the same awful disease that plagued and caused the death of composer Leonard Rosenman. Very, very scary ailment. I agree with the above sentiment on life.
