Only 20 mins? I wonder what else will get on there? I missed that detail! Hmm, perhaps he has expanded the work since it was premiered? If not, hopefully there will be some other works too. He wrote a piano concerto, "Ruin And Memory", in 2010 and a cello concerto, "Mythic Gardens", in 2012. According to a post on a thread on JW Fan, they were going to be recorded and released (though the link in the post is now dead): http://www.jwfan.com/forums/index.php?/topic/23660-howard-shore-concerti/ Perhaps they might be on the CD too? There is a Wikipedia page for "Mythic Garden", which states that the work has a duration of roughly 20 minutes. If "Ruin And Memory" is also about that length, the three works could easily fit onto the same CD. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mythic_Gardens (The Howe Records website has now been updated with the SEVEN and DENIAL albums, but nothing on this album yet.)

There's a blurb about this release on the Howe Records page for Denial Other recent works include the piano concerto Ruin and Memory for Lang Lang (2010), the song cycle A Palace Upon the Ruins featuring mezzo-soprano Jennifer Johnson Cano (2014), Six Pieces (2014), a cello concerto Mythic Gardens (2012), and Fanfare for the Wanamaker Organ in Philadelphia (2008). His opera, The Fly (2008), which premiered at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris and at Los Angeles Opera, recently completed a successful run in Germany at the Theatre Trier. His chamber music album “A Palace Upon the Ruins—Selected Works” will be released on November 4, 2016.

It's only really the last sentence that is actually about the CD, and it doesn't specify what will be on there beyond the title track (some of the other pieces mentioned there might be included, but certainly not all of them because The Fly opera won't be!) Looking forward to a tracklist!

I'm assuming Catania is a different piece to Ruin And Memory. Wonder if the latter will turn up at some point?
