I seem to be too late, (and am very disappointed for this), as I have had very busy weeks. This is a wonderful idea of a challenge, "The Artist" is one of my favorite movies of the decade and we already have two scoring of this one. So first congrats to everyone for submitting, quite a challenge! This is just rough thoughts: 1) Very Hornery, but not dramatic enough 5* 2) interesting approach slowly building accros the two characters, (although the ending is lacking) 8* 3) Too "optimistic" and mickey-mousing and not emotionnal enough for me 5* 4) liked the intro and overall effects. Some transition jarring, loved the sadness brought by the violin - the ending is more on power than emotion, too bad 8* 5) Like a lot the concept and execution from start to finish 9* 6) Good music, but curious choice of instrument (sounds kind of Irish) and the drama is just not there 5* 7) Beautiful music - some part do not fit (after he takes its decision) and a little busy. Again, technically very good, but we are talking suicide here!! 7* 8) Daring but too abvious and not my cup of tea sorry 5* 9) Thematic driven which is nice but doesn't fit, a little mickey-mousing 5* 10) Really like this one, seems one of a piece while still following the action (good switch for the Gun part) Ending more on suspense than emotion 8* 11) Not powerful enough 5* 12) well executed 7* Sorry, Haven't the time to see them all again for a proper ranking. Again thanks to everyone, Please continue, this is a fascinating experiment!
