She didn't spot him, she heard him. Remember from the very beginning of this series how she has an extremely good ear? Good at picking signal from noise, at picking out differences in dialects and languages, etc etc. So when she hears a person in the video say the same line in the same voice ("frontier pushes back" or whatever), of course she'll hone in on it.

Oh I totally agree with you on that one. It's the second part of the video I'm more on board with.
