Sully - Tom Hanks gets to play the reality based character, while Denzel Washington did the same for his fictional counterpart in Flight, both having been through the 'court of enquiry' scenario in Philadelphia. Interesting that they've both covered similar ground as of late. Of course, Hanks more recently played the titular Captain Phillips, in which his character is tested to the limit (albeit at sea), so this appearance would seem to be indicative of maybe a minor typecasting for the time being. On the face of it, the course of action Sully took seems correct, hindsight being what it is. Yet, if he had made for Teterboro instead of the Hudson river, what would history say today?
