I was listening on Joel McNeely`s Terminal Velocity and all the tracks except one is pretty much in the same style (orchestral) but the track Ditch`s Dive is so different even though it is part of the score by the same composer of the other tracks. So it got me thinking, are there other similar cases when the composer did one track that differs from the other score tracks? I can only think of a handful of those such as Nicholas Pike`s Speedster from Stephen King`s Sleepwalkers and John Debney`s Boo from The Scorpion King for example.

Probably a lot more than you think, though I guess including source music wouldn't really 'count'

One that immediately springs to mind is Zone Troopers by Richard Band, which ends with a very 'big band' finale after a much more 'traditional' score.

The first "Final Destination" score by Shirley Walker features an out-of-place (though not bad) cue with electronics (though the main theme is used):

Speaking of Walker, her and Richard Band did terrific fantisy score (released by Intrada; OOP) for a film called "The Dungeonmaster" (or "Ragewar" sometimes) that had one out-of-place catchy synth cue (I don't think it was on the Intrada release):

I'm going to suggest Morricone's Orca, all of which is tense, largely string-based dark music, the main theme being one of those sublime long melodies that he seems to pen so effortlessly... except for "Un Ballo in Casa". This is one of my favourite Morricone tracks, a cool jazz/soft rock track which deserves to have a life of its own in the same way as Chi Mai, Gabriel's Oboe and others.

John Williams' scores for dramas and thrillers usually have a jaunty, fun scherzo, for example: "Jim's New Life" in Empire of the Sun, "For Gillian" in The Fury, and "The Menu" in Jaws 2

That synth track was a source cue from, of all things, METALSTORM (it's on the Intrada album, but the exact track escapes me).

Hows about the PREDATOR 2-like percussion music in the middle of JUDGE DREDD's orchestral bombast ("Angel Family")?

Ah, so it is. I just assumed it was part of the score.

Chris Franke's hawaii music on the track "Ski And The Big Kahuna" from Raven.

Harold Faltermeyer's disco-like "Captain Freedom's Workout" from Running Man.
