I've just been listening to this superb score, IMHO it has one of the most beautiful main themes the Maestro as ever composed ! A 'must' for aficionado's of Italian film music.......or any kind of music for that matter.
I do like the samples. However I bought his "Uccidere in silenzio" some time ago (which also has a great main theme btw) but it was just repeating the same track over and over again with slight variations. I'm just wondering weather this has variety or if it is just the same track repeated 17 times. Out of the 4 samples, only one has a different theme, so I'm a bit cautious.

Yes, the album is fairly 'mono-thematic' but not fully, each version of the main theme is so varied and enjoyable you don't really notice it.......and with such beautiful music it's never boring.
Weird... the 2nd track (seq.6) is in fact from Carlo Maria Cordio's score to "Rosso Sangue" (1981). I have no idea how it ended up among the samples from Cipriani's score.

Both were part of Beat Records' June release batch, so the samples must've gotten mixed up somehow.
