CAPTAIN MARVEL---Brie Larson will star in the movie which will premiere on March 8, 2019. Captain Marvel will reportedly make her first appearance in AVENGERS: CIVIL WAR.
Larson posted a photo of herself with the caption, "Call me Captain Marvel."
SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING---concept art shows Spider-Man battling the Vulture played by Michael Keaton.
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2---director James Gunn commented on Sylvester Stallone's role in the sequel, “It’s a very, very key, important role. It’s not a huge role. He’s a great and key supporting actor.”
Gunn also confirmed that Kurt Russell will play Star-Lord's father.
ALIEN 5---Sigourney Weaver, at the 30th anniversary celebration of ALIENS, commented on the Neill Blomkamp sequel, "I had never wanted to do a fifth [movie]. I didn't want to go to Earth because I thought Earth was boring...Four months later I got a script that was so amazing and gives the fans everything they are looking for plus innovates, in a lot of ways. He has work to do and I have work to do... I am hoping when we finish those jobs we will circle back and start to do it.”
Also, James Cameron said the long-awaited Blu-ray version of THE ABYSS will be released in early 2017, "We've done a wet-gate 4K scan of the original negative, and it's going to look insanely good. We're going to do an authoring pass in the DI for Blu-ray and HDR at the same time."

WINONA EARP---Syfy renewed the series for Season 2.
DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW---Season 2 will feature the Legion of Doom which includes Damien Darhk, Malcolm Merlyn, Reverse-Flash and Captain Cold. Also, new characters include Star Girl, Obsidian and Dr. Mid-Nite.
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES---the upcoming Season 8 will be the last season.
SUPERNATURAL---Rick Springfield will play Lucifer in Season 12.
BOJACK HORSEMAN---Netflix renewed the series for Season 4.
MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.---Gabriel Luna will play Ghost Rider.
BATES MOTEL---Rihanna will play Marion Crane who was played by Janet Leigh in the classic Hitchcock movie.
SINATORO---tv series based on the upcoming comic book about a necronaut who is sent into the afterlife to save Earth.
LEAN ON PETE---Steve Buscemi, Charlie Plummer and Chloe Sevigny star in this movie based on the novel.
