Just saw the 3D version and loved it! (saw it in 2D last week.) I thought the volume for the "rock section" of the end credits seemed drastically lower than the orchestral parts.

Giacchino wrote a nice, very Goldsmith-esque Marvel fanfare (not on the album sadly).

It's a shame (and missed opportunity) that his logo fanfare didn't open up this soundtrack. I fully expected that it would have been included upon hearing he composed a new Marvel fanfare a few months ago.

I saw this recently and thoroughly enjoyed it - I enjoy the occasional popcorn flick, and this was much better than expected as such. I also enjoyed Giacchino's work; it really fit the film and even elevated it.

Question: Is track 17, "Strange Days Ahead" the lead-in to the end credits? And if track 19 ("The Master of the Mystic End Credits") is the end credit music, where does track 18 ("Go for Baroque") fit? Or do those all play in the order in the film? Thanks.

"Strange Days Ahead" is the lead-in, yes. And if I remember correctly, "Go for Baroque" and "The Master of the Mystic End Credits" are both used in the end credits (which are quite long).

Strange Days Ahead is the last scenes until 3:35. The rest is the End Credits before the first post-credit scene.

I domn't remember if Go for Baroque plays in the credit scroll but Master of the Mystic End Credits sure does. (And thanks for putting that ear worm of a track back in my head! I love it!)

Does anyone know the Chronological order of Doctor Strange soundtrack?

Like almost all Giacchino albums, it's in film order.
